ARSIEM is looking for an Operational Systems Integrator. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions.
• Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.
• Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs.
• Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact.
• Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree plus 8-years of relevant experience, or Masters degree plus 6-years of relevant experience or an Associates degree plus 10-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12-years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Able to obtain an IAT-I certification, such as: A+CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+CE, SSCP
• Systems administration including installing, configuring, and maintaining bare metal servers and virtual machines to meet all customer security requirements.
• Responsible for secure infrastructure and vulnerability corrections, data security, compliance, and backups and recovery.
• Maintain SSPs, STE/STN requirements via RMF, Netseer, SEAR logging, patching, IAVMs, McAfee, and UAM.
• Strong Windows experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux Systems Administration
• Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
• Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with SELinux and FIPS

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
