Real Art Daily Productions (RADProd) is an LGBTQ led grassroots organization with diverse leadership and a commitment to inclusivity. The organization produces theatre and film projects that aim to make real art accessible to all, enriching lives and promoting understanding and compassion. Our projects focus on empowering women over 40, the LGBTQ community, individuals with disabilities, and other societal minorities.

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Visual Development Intern at Real Art Daily (RAD) Productions. The intern will be responsible for tasks such as character and concept art, storyboarding, background art composition, page layout and graphic design, if necessary.

This is a part-time, unpaid internship, approximately 15 hours a week and work can be done remotely.

We participate with universities around the world to assist their students who need internship credit for the university/college. Currently we have meetings on Fridays at 1:00pm PST on zoom.

Requirements

• Concept art, illustration, drawing.
• Creative. 
• Works well independently and with a team.
• Proficiency in industry standard software: Adobe suite, Clip Studio Paint, etc.
• Dedicated, eager and passionate about their work, dependable, able to commit to and deliver according to deadlines. 
• Good work ethic. Good time management skills and good communication. 
• Looking for generally good hearted, honest people. 
• Professional and personable. Respectful of people from all backgrounds.
• Able to take direction, follow team procedures and attend weekly meetings.

Technical and Artistic Skills

• Art and drawing skills
• Graphic illustration and composition skills
• File manipulation of image files
• Storyboarding a plus
• 2D animation a plus
• Experience with of Adobe Creative Suite or other design softwares

Soft Skills

• Passion for creativity and visual storytelling
• Interest in diverse representation and inclusivity
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt art-style to the needs of the project and the brand.
• Organizational skills and ability to consistently follow protocols
